Futures Rerooted has its roots embedded in Lived Experience. Through our professional and parenting Journeys, we recognise the positive impacts of relational practice and trauma responsive approaches when supporting families and individuals to improve outcomes.

Through holistic and lived experienced infused services, this incorporates therapeutic input, creative expression and building bridges to the community.

We aim to create high quality, individualised care, support and learning spaces for families and professionals within the children social care sector to feel equipped and empowered within their roles.

As a reflective team, we know that no matter what your experiences are in relation to the social care and family sectors, all of our experiences are a valuable part of relearning and reshaping systems and outcomes, from the roots of our community and beyond.

Reconnect – Creating a space that puts relationships first and allows everyone to reconnect with our unique sense of self, recognising and valuing what we each bring to the project and each other, restoring relationships, rebuilding trust and bridging gaps between families, the community and professional services.
Reframe – Creating spaces that support reflection and our ability to reframe ‘problems’ so we can find creative solutions and allow space for rich learning for everyone.
Root – Supporting families to feel rooted within their communities and extended networks, developing a shared responsibility and collective wrap around care for children and families enabling them to grow into their real potential.
Reweave – Taking threads of our individual and collective stories and experiences, alongside best practice and evidence based research, to create new and innovative ways of being, learning, growing and working together. Developing and championing responsive and nurturing services shaped by Lived Experiences that have relational activism at the heart of everything we do.
